Alison Peters, MA

Alison is a highly experienced consultant working with nonprofits, entrepreneurs, startups, mature businesses, and governments, on strategic planning, needs assessments, program design, customer research, and process improvement. She uses a human-centered design approach to help organizations amplify their impact, embracing experimentation and risk-taking to create products and services with real-world impact. Working with collaborative partners, she delivers user-centered innovation to both business and nonprofit leaders.
Formerly Managing Director of the Deming Center for Entrepreneurship at CU-Boulder, she oversaw Center operations, strategic planning, and implementation. She has also served as Environmental Affairs Director for the City of Boulder, a sustainability researcher, and a congressional legislative assistant. She holds degrees from Yale and Stanford University.
